Our client, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices is currently looking for Fresh Graduates to join their team. This role is based in Port Moresby at their head office.

Position Title: Power Energy & Data Centre Engineer

Duties/Responsibilities:

Power Energy & Data Centre Engineer works position is focusing on Huawei site integration products focusing on power systems both on AC and DC domains, including technical survey, electrical works design support project implementation, site facility acceptance etc.
 

• He/ She must know the electrical design codes & parameters to be used in different types of design.
• Understands & can-do calculations for the design forces based on the required codes & parameters.
• Knows how to interpret the design into the plans. Knows different methodologies or solutions with regards to power.
• Can do estimation for the materials (BOQ) and calculations based on the given loads & plans.
• Design work and practical implementation experience in towers & other telecom facilities and other related electrical installation works is an advantage.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Applicants must meet the following minimum requirement in terms of working experience, qualification background technical and language skills.
• Equipped with basic requirements for troubleshooting and implementation.
• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
• Team player, self-motivated, result-oriented, highly independent, and good learning ability.
• Good Communication skills and have teamwork characteristics.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
