Job vacancy Dispatcher I

Our client in the Oil and Gas industry is seeking to hire an experienced Dispatcher to be based at its location.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Assists in delivering items to customers by verifying orders.
• inventorying stock and arranging transportation.
• Anticipates delivery requirements. Places and expedites orders.
• Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading and reconciles quantities while noting any discrepancies.
• Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status as well as answers questions.
• Position will receive support and direction.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior shipping/receiving experience.
• Warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Attention to detail.
