MAIROBS DISTRIBUTORS and HIRE CARS LIMITED is 100% Nationally Owned Company registered by Mr. Robert Nauru and the directors to participate in business and the development of Papua New Guinea in the industries such as Vehicle Hire Service, Stationeries & Office Supplies, Timber Sales and Kwila distribution and Real Estate. Currently based in Lae, Morobe Province.

As a start-up business, MAIROBS DISTRIBUTORS LIMITED has commenced a sound business strategy with highly experienced people and solid planning for the operations.

The Company aims to:

• Maximum participation in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry
• Invest in the long term in its related business activities
• Promote sustainable business for the shareholders of the business
• Promote employment opportunities for unemployed youths

4. OUR PEOPLE

We believe that people are the number one asset of the business and thus we need to ensure that the right people are recruited and appointed to manage the affairs of the shareholders/owners investment. The business will therefore have young and vibrant managers to manage the investments of the proprietors.

4.1. Directors / Proprietors

The only current directors of MAIROBS DISTRIBUTORS LIMITED are:

1. MR ROBERT NAURU - Managing Director
2. MRS HETTY NAURU - Director

This is a family business and does not have any other associate person or party.

4.2 Management

The current management comprises of;


(i) Mr. Robert Nauru
Managing Director of the Company & its Subsidiary Companies.


(ii) Ms. Noreen Tjangau
General Office & Hire Car Manager
 Sixteen (16) years experience in Office Administration
 Diploma in Private Secretarial duties (Cambridge Tutorial College)
 Certificate in Secretarial duties (Port Moresby Business College)


(iii) Mr. Nick Oropa
General Manager
 More than twenty five (25) years’ experience in Office Management /Administration
 Bachelor in Journalism (University of PNG)


(iv) Mr. Greg Waringin
Manager Operations/Project
• 12 years’ experience in Information Technology, Multi Media and Project Management, Secondary School Teaching Information and Communication Technology and Business studies course.
• Bachelors Degree in Information and communication Science, Diploma in Computer Graphics and Multi Media ( UPNG),
• Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Divine Word University)
